Our Department

The Department of Managerial Psychology and Sociology is focused on teaching and research in the psychological and sociological aspects of management. Among the main topics belong:

• manager’s personality and action,
• team cooperation and development,
• leadership,
• diversity management,
• cross-cultural psychology,
• organizational culture and behaviour.

In the last years, department members have been involved in various national and international projects (see Research projects) and have broad experience with national research projects in the above mentioned areas.

In teaching, department members lead several courses in prestigious CEMS MIM programme and teach various courses to both undergraduate and graduate students at the Prague University of Economics and Business.
